... I am all about having a conference next year. Whether we do it stand alone, as a pre-conference for the NC Center’s conference in Durham, or both.
I would be happy to do some or all of the following for the conference:
1> Play a support role in organizing the conference (general promotions, direct connect with potential sponsors and attendees, strategy creation and execution meetings and followup)
2> Be a speaker at the conf.
3> Lead a workshop or workshops at the conf.
4> Be the “master of ceremonies” for parts or all of the conference
I love what we are doing as a meetup, and this is the one thing than I can definitely commit my time to.
I’m thinking we may want to schedule a specific meeting just for discussing the conference…a “build team” kickoff.
What do you all think? Who else wants to be on the build team, and what roles do you want to play?
